JUNEAU — The Dodge County Board of Supervisors will be asked to vote on a resolution next month that may allow prayer back in the County Board room. The resolution would allow non-sectarian invocations to be presented at the opening of meetings by clergy representing a variety of faiths. The resolution, crafted by supervisor Eugene Wurtz, was presented to the Executive Committee during a March 2 meeting. Following the requests of a majority of supervisors, Dodge County Board Chairman Russell Kottke said the committee has been looking to update its policy regarding legislative prayer.
