* Former Mayor Bob Somers, for taking the time to explain his position on the two-versus-four year mayoral term debate. Remember that the Council will hold a listening session on the issue this Tuesday evening (3-10).
* Ripon Superintendent Richard Zimman for presenting the facts in a clear and concise manner. Now, can we move on to other issues in the district.
* Editor Tim Lyke...two good editorials in as many weeks? I may have to start saying nice things about him again. Kidding? I thought his comments on the street vacation of Blossom Street hit most every major point. Remember the Council will hold a public hearing on this issue next Tuesday as well.
