RIPON, Wis. – The Division III women's basketball tournament field of 63 was released Monday morning, with the Red Hawks selected to face the College of St. Benedict in Saint Joseph, Minn. during the opening round at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, March 6. The game will mark Ripon's return to the NCAA Tournament after a four-year hiatus.
RIPON, Wis. – Fresh off their 2009 Midwest Conference Championship, the Ripon women's basketball team was awarded with several All-Conference awards on Tuesday, as released by the MWC office. Headlining the list was Head Coach Julie Johnson, who received the MWC Coach of the Year award for the fourth time in her stellar career. Freshman forward Erin Lind also received recognition, as she was named to the MWC First Team. Sophomore Emily Meyer was named to the MWC Second Team for the second consecutive season.
RIPON, Wis. – Tickets for Ripon’s NCAA women’s basketball tournament game at the College of St. Benedict can now be purchased by contacting the Ripon College athletic department. The game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in Saint Joseph, Minn. with the price of admission set for $7.00 for adults and $3.00 for students, senior citizens and children.
