RIPON HOSTS WSFL TITLE GAME

Snow, cold, sleet...all the perfect elements for a championship game. And Ripon's Ingalls Field was the host of the WSFL title game on Saturday night. Yes, FieldTurf was one of the big reasons the game was held in Ripon, but I do NOT want to get into a debate about the Turf on this site. When the turf was proposed, one argument was that Ripon could bring in games and add money to the local economy. That happened Saturday night. Let's just say it was a great night, and the school district made some money by renting out the field. And the FFA made some money running the concession stands.
UPDATED: Ripon will now host a Division Three playoff game between Waupaca and Kewaskum this Saturday. More money for the local economy...
